Camp Midlife Team!

CAMP DIRECTOR: Mollie Openshaw is the perfect overseer at camp. She has spoken internationally on midlife topics, owns Mood Swing Wines, has a huge heart towards helping women and is down right fun to hang out with! She has put together a team of people that are perfectly placed, in order for you to have the best experience ever!

Mollie is also the leader of the Chico group of Women of Integrity. 

CAMP ACTIVITIES DIRECTOR: To know Allison Denofrio, is to laugh so hard the tears may roll down your legs. With her playful spirit and sense of adventure, she really puts the F-U-N in Fun. Back home in Chico, California, Allison is married and enjoys mothering two adult girls one of which lives abroad. No moss is growing under this retirement gals feet. She is an Arbonne Consultant, a PEO Sister, an Ambassador for the Paradise Ridge Chamber of Commerce, a LeTip member and as an Up With People alum, she’s been known to break out into a swing clap vamp!

CAMP ADMINISTRATOR: Traci Lay. I am not a size 4 anymore, I am over 50, and guess what, I am still fabulous! Midlife is not the time to hide behind frumpy clothing or give up on style.
I love making you look good and feel good, whether that means offering you wearable, affordable clothing or fashion tips & laughter.

CAMP HEALTH AND WELLNESS COUNSELOR: Dana Schlesinger is a wellness coach and Pilates practitioner. She focuses on life balance, clean eating and non-toxic lifestyle. Whether it’s weight loss, better relationships or starting a wellness journey, she has the tools to lead you to a better life. She will be using some of her tools which include exercises with essential oils and affirmations to help release past traumas, focus on healthy boundaries and clear the mind to get in the road to greatness! As our Health and Wellness Director at camp she will oversee and provide practices that will enhance your wellness journey.

PERSONAL MEDITATION GUIDE: Kama Hagar. As a teacher, Kama takes pride in her gift to work with care, joy and integrity with people. Her mission is to help others practice sustainable self-care through meditation, yoga, holistic recipes for the skin and body and aloha (love) – the recipe for joy, pleasure, self-love, self-acceptance and authenticity. CAMP NURSE: Betsy Galvin is one of the warmest people you will ever meet. She is an amazing friend and one heck of a nurse. Betsy will enjoy all that Camp Midlife has to offer right along side of you, but comes with a fanny pack filled with band-aids should you accidentally take a tumble during the gunny sack race. She is well equipped and provides loads of TLC. Betsy is always good for a hug and willing to lend anyone a hand. Back home in Durham, Ca she is a pediatric nurse for a large clinic, married, has three grown children, and Ya Ya to two of the cutest grandsons on the planet.

CAMP NURSE: Sarina Boorman is always good for a glass of wine and a deep conversation, but she, along with Betsy are here to provide first aide should you need it. Back home in Chico, California she is the mother of two adult children and the Director of Home Health at Enloe Hospital. Sarina is loved by all that get to know her.

CAMP COUNSELOR: Janelle is a vibrant visionary who is all about supporting others to be their best self and live their best life. Her laughter is infectious and her positivity is contagious. 

CAMP COUNSELOR/Special Speaker: Mollie and Rachel have been friends for years and is a testament that age doesn’t matter in true friendships. Rachel is full of amazing energy and on fire to help others succeed and reach higher dreams. She is up for fun and will cheer you on. She is the CEO of Spark (wearespark.us), a podcaster, author, speaker, leader… placing a spark of great energy into those she encounters.

CAMP COUNSELOR: Gigi Byrne absolutely loves Hawaii. Her other passion is to travel with her husband and make stops to take time for her favorite hobby of fishing. Gigi will never turn down a chance to play board games, and she’s a pro at Shut The Box. Gigi can’t wait to jump in and participate in all of the games Camp Midlife has to offer. Back home, she is a Credit Assistance Manager at an economic development company and enjoys her high school sweetheart that she married 30 years ago.
